This depends on the size of your project, and since we tailor our work to suit our clients, every website is different. However, for an average 5-10 page website, you can expect about 6-8 weeks between the day you pay your deposit and the day your website goes live.  However, some projects can take as little as two weeks, while others can last several months — it just depends on the complexity of your requirements.  

I’ll always give you a realistic timeline at the beginning of your project and will collaborate with you throughout the entire process, so there’ll be no surprises down the track.  Your input at the beginning of the project, as well as your copy and feedback on our progress, will all affect the project timeline, so it’s important we work together to help bring your vision to life.

Every custom-built website is unique and requires different features and functionalities. During our discovery period, we’ll ask plenty of questions and assess your needs in detail and learn about your goals before providing you a quote for building a website that is specific to your business. On average, most quotes will be in the range of $2,000, but can differ depending on your individual requirements.

Not at all! We work with clients from all over the world. Most of our communication is done via email and Google Meet live chats, so whether you’re in New Zealand or Dubai, we’d love to work with you. But if you are local, we’d love to meet up for a coffee.

Ideally, we will only commence work on the website once your branding and copy is finished, and all your content is lined up and ready to go. However, if you are eager to get going and don’t have your copy ready (or copywriter on board yet), we can still get started,  and I’ll build a timeline for your project based on where you’re currently at in your journey.

We find that it usually takes about 30 days after a website is launched for you to uncover any little niggles. During this time, we use your feedback to iron out any issues that may arise during day-to-day use of your site. We also recommend you ask friends and family to read and test your website once it goes live to help fast-track this process. Depending on your package, you may be eligible for unlimited complimentary support for a set period post-launch to ensure any adjustments after the initial 30 days are covered. This does not include any structural or design changes made by you during this period. After this period, if you would like ongoing support taking care of your website, we offer full maintenance packages on a subscription basis. 

Websites are ‘live creatures’, which essentially means they require constant maintenance and monitoring to make sure they are performing at their best. Just like a car, they experience wear and tear and the unexpected can happen.  

Technology is constantly evolving and if your website is not kept up to date, it can become vulnerable to both security breaches and breaking.  Just like a car, it’s often cheaper to keep things well maintained and serviced regularly than to pay up to fix a big problem down the track. Absolutely! We use a really user-friendly theme, and everything in your website dashboard is clearly labelled. We’ll also provide you with a recorded personalised video that will show you how to use all the features of your website you’ll want to update regularly.

Our preferred content management system is WordPress. WordPress websites take up more than 30% of the web, which is due to their ease of use and incredible flexibility. WordPress is also search engine friendly and open sourced, which means it integrates easily with other platforms. Don’t worry —  we’ll teach you everything you need to know to use and manage it.
